Ashford Landing Apartments

Ashford Landing is the second 9% LIHTC development for HDC’s affiliate, Housing Authority of DeKalb County (HADC). Built as Phase II of of the former Johnson Ferry East public housing community, Brookleigh, this 117-unit, independent living community is designed for senior’s age 62 years and older. Completed in late 2009, Ashford Landing is a mixed-finance redevelopment property. Ashford Landing provides the second phase of replacement housing for the seniors that previously resided at Johnson Ferry East. This project was financed with 9% LIHTC, a conventional loan and an HADC loan. The project has project-based, rental assistance demonstration (RAD), 60% LIHTC and market units.
