Hearthside Brookleigh

HearthSide Brookleigh, completed in 2012, is the third and final affordable replacement housing for the HDC’s affiliate, Housing Authority of DeKalb County. The former Johnson Ferry East public housing community is now called Brookleigh.The multi-phase, mixed-use master development was designed with an emphasis on mixed-income senior housing. This 121-unit, independent living community is designed for seniors age 62 years and older. This project was financed with 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) transaction and 221(d)4 loan. The project has project based, 60% LIHTC and market units.
